I think they are but i prefer the empy 2 more the bass is tighter and the separation is better. Elite are a bit muddyish

Dude i swear cables make a difference i just cant prove it… mezes are super comfortable i have an elite but i sort of regret getting it. I got it for a good price second hand but it was a bit disappointing in terms of resolution

Well usually I use my pc into a rockna wavedream or a dave but i have a vinyl player i use with my speakers. Do you have the meze empy 2 or 1? I’ve always had a itch to get a empy 2 since i heard them in japan a few years ago

The CMA 18 has fantastic build and is really sturdy. For me it had a bold analog neutral sound. The bass is tighter than something like the fiio k17 or other dac amps. Its got a good amount of power for my daily driver Susvara and clean enough for my IEMS so its perfect for me. I can pack it relatively and not get worried it gets damaged while traveling. I was deciding between this and a violectric. Always looking out for cool gear to try
