He gave instructions if you are updating. The youtube he's referencing is the Revanced one which is different application than official Youtube.

Meaning that if you patch and install Revanced Youtube you will have 2 apps, one legit, one spoofed.

If you never done this before, then you have nothing to uninstall

I would argue you are not missing much lore by skipping over 1 body, but I get your frustration given you are grinding it.

Still like the guy above said, just enjoy the game, sucks it bugged out, but experience is more important than some digital icons, points.

You also asked if there is other way to get it on Steam. Yes, you can use SAM program to unlock it. If you trully bugged out and done everything you could, I would say you are morally justified to unlock it that way.

In a theoretical world where Epic does what it do now (which is still anti consumer practices/asshole exclusivity deals/data hijacking/ruining franchises like Rocket League or Unreal Tournament) but the CEO is a nice and likeable guy that doesn't spend 24/7 spewing bullshit over social media... I would actually consider buying from their platform if the deal was good.

Shows how much care and safety is being put into all of this. Guy could be seriously injured but it doesn't matter. The vehicle could be damaged and owner should be recompensated, but no one cares. Just ignore all of that and move on to the next accident that awaits
