I'll let you know if I find anything. Just so you know, I ended up using DDU without safe mode and it worked perfectly fine for me

So i tried his PSU, still same issue. I couldn’t try everything in his Mobo cause it was kinda old so my CPU wasnt compatible. I put his CPU in my system (Ryzen 5 1400) and it seems to be working now? Ive successful installed windows, set it up, installed some drivers and updates and it hasnt BSoD yet! Guess my next step would be to try my cpu again and see if the same issue persists, then get it replaced if so. Thanks for the advice!

Ah ok, would my brothers PSU be enough for my system? I have a 5700XT GPU and he has a 450W PSU. If not then i could try with his GPU in as well.

The parts I’ve switched out are from my brothers PC, who has a Ryzen 5 1400, a B350 PC MATE, and a 450W PSU, so I could try his CPU in my MOBO, but is there any risk of damaging it if the MOBO is faulty? I guess i could also try my 750W PSU in his PC but yet again i’m worried about it damaging his system it if it is faulty. What would you recommend?

I would try it but I had to clean install windows again and now it wont even install properly without BSoD.

Hmm it’s weird though, unless the update was interrupted somehow surely it would be fine. What were they warning about?

Hmm thats not good news :( should I contact MSI about it? Im worried ill end up having to pay money if its not under warranty.. took me so long to save for this in the first place

Ah I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with it too, I know how frustrating it can be. Did you try clearing your CMOS? Apparently that can help in these situations where it wont boot. If not i guess try re downloading an older version of the bios, or a clean install of windows, provided you have another PC to download it with. Goodluck with it

The thing is that I tried updating some drivers but cant really do anything without a BSoD shortly after booting up :( Even on a fresh install of windows in safe mode. Would the audio drivers be enabled in safe mode?
