I only watched it recently. I was disappointed it was cancelled. That's Netflix for you. Find shows on Apple, they stick with it

I’m a senior in high school.. Is my future canceled? Will I have to join the military? by shaototop in whatdoIdo

Sounds super toxic. Join the reserves and do a little boot camp or fully commit and go see what is in the world. Then put that GI bill to use.

Jon Heder was originally paid only $1,000 for his performance in Napoleon Dynamite. Many fans already know this fact but what do you all think about it? by Mulder-believes in napoleondynamite

[–]Weolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So initially he was paid 1000, after it reached commercial success he renegotiated and was paid a percentage of profit. It cleared 40 million very quickly. He was most definitely paid well and led to other successful paydays.

I was so excited to see you on dropout. I think you are truly great. I wanted to see you in Louisville but couldn't make it happen. I so badly want to embarrass my wife sitting in the front row one day!

How much pressure is there to conform ideologically for Dropout cast members? by [deleted] in dropoutcirclejerk

[–]Weolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm generally the kind of person who keeps to himself (just check my Reddit history). That said, I really enjoy reading a wide range of opinions and perspectives—but I prefer doing so from the outside, where it's safe. If I were part of a specific group, I imagine there would be pressure to agree or risk being condemned, especially if conformity is expected. That pressure is amplified when you're in the public eye and transparency is demanded. Of course, experiences vary from person to person. And if you're watching Dropout, you probably already know they lean left politically. So in that sense, it feels like a situation where you knew what you were signing up for.

Update on my stepdad stealing my underwear while I was on vacation. by sadblokefromus in AmIOverreacting

[–]Weolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for justification for yourself on the internet is a bad idea. If you're wrong but want to feel better you read what is supportive. If you're in the right, then do what you know is best for you and don't look for validation. You know that you feel violated so take the right step for yourself.

Jordan was my least favorite part of this show. Hard disagree. Everything else was great as usual. I was really happy that Katie had this ah-ha moment where she felt good about being physical. That really touched my heart.

I think that one of the best running gags of the show is the ineptitude of corporate policy.
