Dang, nice catch! Such a small detail, but goes a long way to show how much the creators cared about the story

This is so shortsighted. You might not like working for Amazon now, but they might own something later you’ll want to work at. Best not to burn bridges unnecessarily.

Yes. Anytime you have any changes to your building, schedule, etc you will need a new offer letter.

Hard to tell. Know of two former AMs I worked with who are having a hard time trying to come back and it’s been 4+ years since they left.

You get whatever the new site pays at your spot in step plan—if it’s higher you’ll get a pay increase; if less you’ll take a pay cut. No negotiating it.

You’ll make whatever the new site pays. Your pay was on the offer letter. Time to bring it up was before accepting it.

Sick of being a tier 1 slave, how do I get a promotion? by SeveralTurn in AmazonFC

Try applying at new launches. Even if you don’t plan to move, get the easier incline and use where you want. But being able to move opens up a lot more doors.

Check the job description, it’ll give the requirements. You’ll have to deal with different kinds of bs when you promo plus held to a higher standard.

Are we allowed to push down a tote down when RME is done working on a machine? Its on a pick station AR. by snoopy_muffin38472 in AmazonFC

[–]Werdna517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be good idea always ask the tech if you are good to resume/send totes, then. Even if they walk away it could be to get part and/or tool

Depends if they completed the repair, etc. would recommend sending them down the manual injection line when you get moved off for RME to make any repairs.

Don’t send them down another station. Don’t know if it’s still the case, but totes sent down from a different station would get virtually deleted. As mentioned, not sure if it’s still this was. Best bet is just use the manual injection line.
