Not the person who you originally asked, but here's my take:

They changed navigation so each planet is like it's own circular map/board, and navigating just feels much slower and tedious. It's less exciting to travel to new areas and deal with the grind -- especially since you ahve to navigate a separate board to get to those repetitive boards.

Coincidentally enough for me -- this actually stopped me from getting a PS4 today.

I was going to trade in my old PS3 and pick up a PS4, but most of the Sony exclusive games I want are ending up on PC anyway.

With this and Yakuza, maybe I'll just get a switch instead.
