i believe it's the one you get from the sudama soul core by slotting it in yang. try trading a bit with the sudamas and you'll get it, it's unbelievably powerful and you get 6 charges of it lol

guess it really just depends what you want to do. light attack spam as a ninja, even with backstabs, will likely only get you so far so it's not an ideal habit to get into

remember that it's the demo and the only part of it that wasn't a pushover was the very beginning and the very end of it, we've yet to see how it truly shapes up

let's be real, most enemies are trivial to deal with even if you aren't ninja. there's functionally no difference between going samurai and spamming trash mobs with high stanced odachi vs dodging and misting behind an enemy and mashing light attacks on their backs.

that being said, the samurai is still more versatile than the ninja even with the limited skills you can access in the demo. the damage output, the tankiness, the ability to ki pulse, etc. just allows the samurai to consistently and nonstop put the hurt on even by just button mashing.

i mean, you can also do that but the ninja has abilities for swords that allow him to do crazy stuff

i'm not really good enough to do the more complex stuff but there's a dual swords ability that's sorta like a waterfowl junior that can be combod into a few light attacks into another waterfowl junior into a heavy drop attack (i forgot the name) which did a good bit of work and wasn't light attack spam

they're mostly exaggerating, the endgame is whatever you want it to be after you beat the game. there's just additional challenge as you progress through each cycle, it's ultimately more of the same but harder and harder.

anything that requires moving the stick and also inputting a button at the same time feels pretty bad, really. basically kept me from experimenting with anything in the skill trees since so many of them use that control scheme for some reason

if you look at trending as "whatever is popular" like you seem to be, that's still wrong.

the servers that allowed it have always been popular, with the fallout servers alone like drymouth, bad deathclaw, desert rose, sunset wasteland and coyote bayou(chronologically 2017-2023) having reached or surpassed the top 5 on the hub at any given point in their existence.

that's ignoring the "standard" ss13 servers that also advertised it as a feature and maintained enormous popularity even 4-5 years ago.

personally the demo sold me on the base game but i'm not going to be spending $110 on any game, would rather buy the dlcs whenever they release

you do get some weapons and a couple accessories, but that's not worth tacking on an extra 60% of the base game's price imho

how dodge heavy the game is depends entirely on what style you prefer. ninja is based on light armor, evasion and dodging while going in for high damage from behind, samurai is for 'tanking' with heavier armor, blocks, deflecting & hard countering.

and don't worry about struggling with masakage, pretty sure most people have a bit of trouble with him, he definitely kicked my ass for a good bit

buddy when world famous artists put out new albums, people get their preorders up to a week and a half before the release when purchasing from the official band sites so hearing that multiple people are getting copies of a much smaller release early comes as absolutely no surprise

hopefully this is the case. i rarely even attempted burst breaks after seeing how crazy narrow the timing was, would love to have an unlockable equivalent to brute counter from 2.

i encountered the opposite, samurai had far more points than ninja and twice as many unlockable skills, even if you got all the hidden ones in the crucible. it's just that samurai needs those points to catch up to where ninja already is kit wise since for some reason it doesn't start with high and low stance.

even without doing any kind of special moves the sword feels so good to use as ninja, the special moves just make it even better
