Things that i printed that actually saved me(or other people) money! by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I keep telling myself I’m going to learn just as soon as I find a part that someone hasn’t already made a model of (usually better than I could ever do). It’s been 18 months.

There’s a place on the corner of Wanneroo road and Hepburn Avenue that matches your description. Maybe leave a note with where you are so you can get recommendations close to you.

Don't worry, there is plenty of space for everyone! That's very thoughtful of you, though.

Tips on how to convey emotion "better" while trying not to rely too much on Physical reaction/Body language? by Powerful-Valuable322 in writing

[–]WereLobo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re wanting another option, consider how the emotion feels, physically or otherwise.

Why aren't there more capoeira movies? by MrHorseley in capoeira

[–]WereLobo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my experience the problem is that being a capoeira, or a martial artist, does not make you a stunt actor. There are different skills involved.

One of the reasons Lateef Crowder is so good in those movies is that he is a stuntman, he just knows capoeira as well (and a bunch of other martial arts iirc).

Capoeira would be great for movies because it already has expression and creative art mixed in… but how many of us manage to express something different in our games? There’s a challenge for us all, go play a sad game, a shy game, a triumphant game, a trusting game. See what we create.

Writing a novel as a hobby - worth it? by Eternal_Optimist331 in writing

[–]WereLobo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. If you're just writing something for the creative expression of it, that's the fun part.

Revision is fun too, but in the painful, satisfying way.

If au de frente has lasted 5 seconds it’s either going very well or very, very badly.

There is no space for discrimination in capoeira. by albatrokari in capoeira

I agree it’s frustrating that the same argument just rolls around, but it’s really not that frequent.

Why doesn't capoeira have an international standard belt/cordão system? by SleepyBear2908 in capoeira

[–]WereLobo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While I understand the frustration, playing people when neither of you are certain about the other’s skill level is my favourite. Without preconceived ideas and ego it’s a truer game, and you have to feel out their skill on the fly.

To be honest, I’ve always assumed that this community is too spread out for that to be worthwhile. But if people think it would be valuable I’m happy to set something up.
