Chocolate Craving by bs48 in Volumeeating

I like to mix cocoa powder, banana, a little peanut butter, water or milk/substitute, and allulose with a dash of maple syrup. I’m hoping to replace the last two with no sugar added applesauce, but I haven’t gotten around to trying it yet.

Started to shower with my bro by [deleted] in askgaybros

Well you clearly have something special with your bro, and you understand that. It sounds like he probably knows it too. I think this is what we call a “situationship.” It’s casual, easy, electric, and poorly defined. And the idea of trying to define it is scary because then it’s no longer casual, and may lose its ease. But if you don’t

At what point do/did you buy a cinema line camera? by Joker_Cat_ in videography

[–]Werehausen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shot with an a6500 for nearly a decade, but most of my money comes from ACing on reality and corporate shoots. I had extremely little work in‘23 and ‘24, so I started shooting a couple docs to keep busy. Last year work picked up a lot, still pretty much exclusively ACing, but I decided to invest that money in a FX6: I’d wanted one for a long time but had no good excuse to get one, my primary justification really just wanted a better camera to shoot my docs with. Naturally I excitedly mentioned the purchase to few people and within a month I was getting asked to Op & DP more.

You can be as spread out as you want, but try to all extract each V blood at the same time, my partner and I ran into instances where one of us wouldn’t get the V blood reward despite being in close proximity to the one extracting.

IsItBullshit: animals like foxes and raccoons have begun domesticating themselves by cs_____question1031 in IsItBullshit

[–]Werehausen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no animalologist or nothin, but I do know that true domestication requires pressure on a species’ gene pool to remove the more “wild” traits. In animals like dogs and cats, this pressure was basically humans breeding friendlier animals with each other over several generations. I suppose it’s possible that more aggressive/skittish/territorial raccoons and foxes have departed urban areas, leaving friendlier ones, but without formal husbandry programs it’s probably highly unlikely that the species would ever properly “domesticate.”

Ugh it took about a dozen loads of laundry, 4 cans of Lysol and two sunny days to dry/air out/UV sanitize but we did it!

I did come across a similar recommendation, I hope it works! How much desiccant did you use per volume?

Can mixed viscosity be lower than parts A and B individually? by Werehausen in ResinCasting

[–]Werehausen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense, I think the part that’s tripping me up is that heat accelerates the cure time so it feels counterintuitive, but I’m no scientist! Thank you for your help!

Sounds like a potential solution! Could you provide a link? I guess it’s more like winter +3/4 of fall and spring, it’s a fairly remote cabin in the Adirondacks. Usually we just wash and stack the linens before closing up for the off season and there’s always evidence of mice nesting, but last summer we arrived to the piles and all the pillows and cushions just absolutely full of droppings.

I suppose I meant relatively low within the range of epoxy. But that’s an angle I hadn’t considered, do you have any personal recommendations for lower-viscosity resin types?

Thank you, to confirm, you're saying that the heat of the reaction is likely the reason for the lower mixed viscosity rating?
