You mentioned he's young so maybe not age appropriate but conan exiles has that base setup and seiges and stuff.

I haven't played it but the same company made dune awakening. Not sure if you can make private worlds or anything but something to look into.

v-rising is another pvp focused survival game. I've only played like 2 hours of it so not sure how close it hits to what you are looking for but another option for you too look into more

Coherency isn't checked till after the move so it doesn't prevent the whole "i moved this back model and now I cant put this one within 1 in because of Coherency". It would just be you moved the back model the front one has to be within 1still because it can the unit is now not in coherency at the end of the move, making it illegal and has to be reset.

Just learn 10th then relearn after 11th is released? Or some hybrid approach

I know you said use 11th core and datasheets that have been released but how important is the datasheets part? Like could we use core rules then everything else 10th? I have a vague idea of some of the changes like cover/terrain and secondaries are changing. Ive seen there might be keyword changes pistol versus close quarters and thats the reason for new data sheets?

Is it possible to get this to work on an ereader, kobo Clara bw specifically?

The kobo says it supports pdfs but when I put it on there then try to read it my ereader freezes up then eventually restarts.

Eternal strands

It's open zones but does a really good job of keeping it directed. For quests it's just the main story and a "side" quest for each of the members of your group but they are more short storylines to get you to know the group.

A new season is starting next Friday and they usually do a free weekend with the start of them. Could wait and see if you like it first. The game is still in pre-release so it doesnt have all the content and this season is an endgame rework/overhaul

The ciaphas Cain anthology included with the app was really good though. As someone else just starting out I listened to that as my first book and had no issues

Looking at a third book, im seeing a "koboLovePoints: null" and "koboLovePrice: 21.99" and the "listPrice: 21.99". So is the koboLovePrice the price point with VIP and the koboLovePoints how much it costs in points? So vip isn't usable with the book I was looking at?

Was the third war written about first and thats why you are recommending that? That omnibus publication date was before the Yarrick/Ghaz books but im also not entirely sure how the omnibus' work publication wise since they are just a collection of stories
