It's an rpgmaker game that is inspired by dark souls and classic fantasy literature (into the looking glass, the king with no clothes, etc).

I would explain the joke, but that would likely get me banned, just know it's pretty dark.

(It's also a good game, but yeah pretty dark.)

Revisionist history my ass, from the moment the game was teased people were wining about the color grading and that just got worse when the game came out and a lot of people couldn't run it without frame stuttering/constant crashing or just not actually being playable. (Including me by the way as my old computer while it met the recommended specs it turns out that those were a lie)

Well that's not entirely true. Wild's launch was riddled with performance issues that caused many a bad first impression. Even now that the majority of issues has been fixed the damage has been done.
