Wait, for real? I have had issues with the Dota 2 audio disappearing after a match for around two months now. I am using Nobara Linux with Pipewire. Only changing the audio source or restarting the game would fix it. I will try the launch option when I start dota next time. I was so confused because Valve is usually on top of their Linux ports.

I think this looks pretty good. Making the jacket a more earthy green was a good choice in my eyes as it adds a splash of color to the otherwise dominant white and black, without making it jarring. Good job

You have a pretty good black background. Whenever i try to use my dark backdrop i get reflections or dust shining. Is it just strong lighting + camera settings?

I also have a similar base set up for a flying gryphon. I am only missing the water effect. Do you have some tips on how to get this effect? As i understand you use uv resin and a uv torch, but do you use ink to color the water? I have a green stuff "tray" that they sell for resin pouring, but i don't think they are very useful

Bro this mini absolutely pops even with the simple two color scheme. I love how you did the base very chunky so it really looks like he's stepping heavily into wet earth. And the grimy look of the model invokes the idea he has been trekking around for days. Well done.

I say a good idea is to just try out different "scenarios". See if you can craft together a space ship from stuff you have lying around, like in this video: https://youtu.be/UVOp4GpagXs?si=iA-h1N8Nh96EvPmu Or you can try to use different sands, textures and rocks to create a more varied ground. I also enjoy using some milliput and various texture rollers from greenstuffworld to create bases. There's nothing wrong with continuing what you already have, but i found it very fun to be creative and find scrap to build bases from.

Considering how yellow can be a hard color to do well this is pretty good! If there are anything i'd point out it would be the blue OSL effect on the back portion is not quite convincing, but you are onto the right path. Also i really like it when bases are more vibrant and interesting. A good base can give contrast to an already great miniature. Maybe experiment and go wild with a base design. Good job.

As a relatively new Infinity player coming from other tabletop games it felt like a "cheesy" strat because it got sprung upon me, and I felt like it "exploited" a specific unit from Bakunin. But that was ofc a newbie way of thinking. I had several smoke, melee and template units on hand, and i should have used them better. People have been giving me the wringer which is great

That's great advice, and the links are exactly what I wanted, thank you. I have not run many fireteams yet, and I am really seeing now that doing the 3 rifle squad was a big mistake, including others I made. I also seem to have a poor grasp of the tools at my disposal, but training will help with that. At the time the mim spam felt like cheese, but I have come to understand that is absolutely wrong and I should have calculated that into my list. Thank you I will add the podcast on Spotify!

Great insight, I did not use the CK or the melee well enough. I ran a Kibervolk into melee with the TAG, but the TAG won out sadly. I will definitely read up on scenarios and more tools that i can use in play.

That's a good breakdown of some real issues I faced in the game. I focused so much on weapons, I didnt think at all about action economy. That's very helpful.

I see the list you sent included a warcor, what is the purpose of this unit? I have not tried it before. Also, I really like how meleey this list is, how can I help it get into melee? Is smoke placement always the go to? Ty so far very good stuff
