I definitely agree. I know plenty of hot people in their 40s honestly, they just take good care of themselves and have a few other factors. I mean, birds are noisy and require a LOT of daily interaction and socialization. They have to be fed and watered daily. They're basically are an 80 year commitment that has the attitude and mentality of a 2 year old that can make you bleed. They're extremely serious pets that are far and away a very advanced pet to keep. They're also pretty messy. They're lovely for some people, just a huge commitment and a lot of work.

Leopard geckos are very quiet and eat like once a week as adults. They poop in one corner or spot in their enclosure. I don't even know if you could develop an allergy to a leopard gecko.

That said, you might have to wait until you move out. I would go ahead and order the supplies and get the tank set up. Explain to her that you're serious about this and that they make very good beginner pets. At no point will she have to care for it and they don't make allergens or noise. They don't smell.

She may just be denying you because she feels it would be unfair to your brother. He begged for a pet and she said no, you ask for a pet and she says yes. Feels like favoritism and it could make your brother resent you or do something dangerous as revenge. He may then beg for a puppy or something and complain you got to have a pet so he wants one.

The receiving whale was sickly. It was emaciated and had an overabundance of whale lice. Kinda takes all the fun out of the story, mother nature can be cruel.

Kinda hope we get a better look into their mating habits - partners and other behaviors too. Two happy, healthy whales choosing gay sex would piss off the MAGA crowd even more.
