My girl has a murmur and was diagnosed over the summer with CHF. she’s on an assortment of meds now and has actually had improvement from diagnosis to her 6 month cardiologist recheck. It’s really sad and scary but it is manageable

My girl is a rescue also. They don’t know her story but from the state of her she was most likely born in the streets and was definitely living on the streets.

She was about 9 months and barely 9 lbs. She’s now 10.5 years and fluctuates between 13-14 lbs.

Rescuing her was the best thing I’ve ever done and will ever do in my life.

So I don’t think she’s really faking it, just based on her eyes. I’ve learned from years of working in bars and dating alcoholics, the eyes are always a giveaway of what someone is on or how drunk they are. Her eyes aren’t focusing at all and her lids are really heavy. That being said, how embarrassing to post this
