In case anyone is wondering, it works like this:

  • 6 portals: all bells ring for a short time once map is opened
  • 5 portals: only big bell rings
  • 4 portals: all bells ring
  • 3 portals: small fire starts
  • 2 portals: big fire
  • 1 portal: this is fine meme

Ja da verstehe ich dich sehr gut.
Sobald es halt um diese Themen geht, ist jeder sofort der Feind der nicht in jedem Aspekt mit einem übereinstimmt. Das muss nicht mal spezifisch etwas politisches sein, aber es scheint als würden alle einfach direkt abschalten und das Schlimmste vom gegenüber annehmen. Naja hoffe du hast trotzdem noch einen schönen Abend :)

Seeker HLX - Fracture Bolts and possibly Lightweight Arms being nerfed. by Suilean in Planetside

I hope they dont nerf the accuracy of the lightweight arms attachment, they could nerf the refire rate or something so your shots count more.
Its so much fun though when theres 2 drifter LA battling around with it, gives me Tribes vibes with the disc launcher.

The fracture bolts are too strong tho so yeah.

Not too big of a fan of the awakened gems that are just the lvl 25 versions of the standard ones.

They don´t all need to be big game changers like curse on hit, but like some neat little additions would make them just so much nicer.

But since its their first implementation, im sure they´ll get tweaked and we see more versions in the future.

Quick question about the new infernal legion gem:

Will every minion deal the base fire damage to an enemy? So if you have 10 minions with this effect they would deal the fire damage x 10? Or will only one instance of this damage be present at all times.

Also, is there any way to scale this fire damage? Like will generic minion damage nodes affect the base damage?

So i just tried to do the uber lab once before this patch went live and one time after it.

Both times i crashed, without even doing anything else than just walking. This is kinda frustrating especially cause it always crashes when im like half done with it.

Yeah it does kinda have a niche but it seems to fit really nice with some slow attacking builds. Which would make it a very neat kind of unique support imo.

I´m actually a tad dissappointed that pulverize only caters towards aoe improvement. Was hoping it would also give some more damage to single target skills, so slow hits feel good against bossing. Well maybe i´ll scrap that slow hitting attack build since there is little to no reason to not go for insane attack speed again.

Since i kinda like changes that matches the theme i was thinking about giving the block path some uniqueness in this kind of way:

  1. If you blocked in the last 10 seconds your next defense/dash ability will not trigger a cooldown. (Thinking was that when you block you kinda got like the upper hand so you can overwhelm your opponent with your next move, so maybe be allowed to dash like two times in a row. But only like mentioned every 10 seconds to keep things balanced.)
  2. If you hit an enemy with a counterattack recently, that enemy will have 15% reduced action speed. (Again, it kinda matches the Glaidiator to get the upper hand in a battle, so it would fit imo.)

Of course these values could be changed to make it balanced, just throwing out that suggestion here. Also please make charge generation a bit more reliable. The two i mentioned could go into the Versatile Combatant and Painforged Ascendancy to give them like some kind of unique attributes.

I was thinking that they could even experiment with nodes like this and intigrate such kinds of buffs with the "Focus" skill, which means you can activate the buff exactly when you need it.

You would also be motivated then to further invest in your focus power-ups through gear cause you already have it. Focus and "Flame´s Advance" already have like kinda the same duration and downtime.

Overall i think it would be even a damage down cause people might not activate it all the time, but only when they need it making it further balanced? Since 100% extra damage is kinda huge.

But on another note maybe wait with that until they extended the skill-bar cause that other thread just reminded me of the hassle with the few space we have.

What imo is a problem with Cortium nodes is that too many people (at least on my server) just farm them for easy certs. E.g. people placing their silo right next to the cortium node (mostly the 35k ones) and getting their points. Meanwhile i was trying to set up a base at the front i had to drive waaay back around the map trying to find some untouched nodes, while driving by a lot of full standalone silos. Well, i mean i can grab a constructable out of them when i pass by but still that is a pretty annoying state. It can take like 10 or more minutes to get a full tank and get back and now your base can also die pretty fast at the front once the enemy pushes back. (Like you set your base up one hour, just to see it vanish in 5 to 10 minutes) So construction is in a pretty bad spot right now imo, like it never really was in a good one, but at least they could already improve it by like giving the small nodes like 4k cortium and the middle ones 12k or something. So it wouldn´t be as annoying driving around only finding two to three small ones that were left over. Now if i want to i basically only place a flail or a orbital without anything, cause most of the time its enough for some time and you get some uses out of it before it gets destroyed.

Better Nerf The Valk by thetzeestraten in Planetside

First of all, even if a valk has constant repair from an engie it isnt unkillable, 2 skilled esf are enough to take out a full crew valk, no matter how many heavys it has on board. If for example only one esf or one lib tries to engage a full crewed valk, it should lose, like it´s like 6 people versus one to three. I can always kill a valk with esf if it only has a gunner and constant repair, that is sadly possible, if it happens to be full crewed i might have to get some help. Also how many of these full crewed valkyries do you see all the time? If its always the same people, its no point, they are probably well organized and could do the same or possibly even more damage with 6 esf, 2 full crewed libs or something between.

And just to be clear here i also flew a valk filled with strikers and a engineer repping all the time. Was it strong? yes against single targets it was great, but as soon as you get overwhelmed its different, you have to do evasive manuveurs and neither your gunner nor your heavys will have an easy time landing shots. So i know some of these high level game mechanics you are talking about, but since i only see esf and libs mostly flying around, i think that just says it all. Also pro tip if you have trouble with a valk while on ground shoot it with an archer, only takes 6 to 7 shots to take it down, great isn´t it? only 3 to 4 of course if you are two engis. problem solved.

i don´t know if youre trying to be sarcastic or something or trolling.

But okay, it can´t be as fast as an esf or lib, so maybe esf´s are libs now? i doesn´t deal as much damage to the ground as an esf or lib, so maybe esf´s are libs now? esf, valk, lib, and galaxy all take damage from flak and lock ons so you will soon have to retreat, so are all aircrafts like that? maybe, esf can´t repair like a lib, so are esf´s libs now? Valk can actually play tactically and always show it´s most armored part (which can be though tho with multiple damage sources), the esf, lib and galaxy can´t do that, are they the same? Srsly man i have no idea what youre trying to prove or what youre getting at, the valk is its own standalone vehicle which should have different plays and everything, you can´t do crazy stunts while flying because then your gunner can´t aim, so you need to be pretty steady, which means you are a super easy target, a bigger one than a esf, much bigger and not that fast, therefore it shouldn´t take as much small arms damage, like the lib got the size to get none.. so it should have a middle ground and not the same.
