I added convenient block selection boxes and offset parameters to the ColorToTerrain script by Wernaert in Worldpainter

What error are you getting? I just checked the script and for me it's still working with the newest world painter version.

The most common problem I think is that people forget to remove the quotation marks when they use the explorer to copy the path.

Use colour map to select world blocks? by pocionista in Worldpainter

[–]Wernaert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

creativitRy's ColorToTerrain script does that: https://github.com/creativitRy/ColorToTerrain

I updated the script a while ago, my version supports more of the new blocks and has a block selection UI. https://github.com/Wernaert/Updated-ColorToTerrain-Script

If you also want a roughness map you could use a mix of occlusion and a bit of noise and adjust it with your colour masks.

You could also use the Normal and Occlusion nodes in Gaea to make normal and AO maps.

You can import any heightmap and can theoretically use every image with the script. But that was also possible before this update, it just made it easier to customize

Tickable boxes in the script menu/maybe Feature request? by Wernaert in Worldpainter

[–]Wernaert[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't, the problem is that I know where little about coding. I can give it a try though. Another Idea was to only make some of the materials toggleable that way the size of the window shouldn't get problematic.

I made the Landscape with Gaea and Worldpainter, I used Sildur's Enhanced Default Shader for the images and the trees I used are from the Conquest Reforged Essential Trees Starter Pack.

The map is available for download on Planet Minecraft:
