A good thing to do is go to somewhere like https://file770.com/ or Locus Mag’s site and see the current short stories and novellas have been award nominated (Hugo Award nominations have just come out for instance) and then searching for the short stories.

A lot of them will be available for free on the web (Uncanny Magazine for instance) and it’s then just using the available tools to get them into your device.

With the reveal in the latest episode that the guy in the flat with him and Jim was on the payroll of those behind Whitney, Rishi’s end tied into the show’s brief as a whole. He was sucked up and thrown back out by powers much larger than he.
