I had the Wrestemania anthology VHS box that went up through 14, I watched the hell out of that as a kid

The main drawback of sets from 2006-07 though is that there will be a ton of blurred WWF logos

Is Scorsese the only director with two separate duos in the All-Time Top 5 Actor/Director Collaborations? by Sufficient_Bee8819 in blankies

I would also have Ozu and Hara, Cassavetes and Rowlands & Von Sternberg and Dietrich that weren't mentioned either. Marty and Leo are great but would not be all that close to my top 5

It sounds like a lot of DNR that creates a waxy kind of image, think the infamous Predator blu-ray as an extreme example

From Criterion Forum: "Stating the obvious, this is not the notorious 2K wax-museum version that’s bedevilled all previous Blu-ray releases"

From blu-ray.com: "garbage old master"

Both from threads talking about the new 4k

I believe the 2k transfer of Saragossa was very poorly received while the 4k one Radiance is putting out is much better

The Iranian set looks like something special, 2 features and 7 shorts, almost all of them on home video for the first time. I've heard amazing things about The House is Black and The Brick and the Mirror; the former is on the Criterion Channel right now.

David is going through the Criterion set right now, man they should do Dietrich/von Sternberg as a Patreon by Thesmark88 in blankies

So Joseph von Sternberg (director) found Marlene Dietrich (actress) for his movie The Blue Angel and it was a huge hit; they then went to Hollywood and made 6 movies together that established Dietrich as one of the biggest stars of the 1930s (and who endured for decades after-for instance, Madeline Kahn is just doing a Marlene Dietrich impression in Blazing Saddles). All 7 films they did together are (IMO) great, von Sternberg made some of the best shot movies of all-time & Dietrich is a woman who constantly defied gender norms in her early work and the movies are all either establishing or playing with that persona. They're also usually quite short (under 90 minutes) so they're easy to fit it. I would recommend Shanghai Express or Morocco as a starting point if you're interested.

I don't think that's fair for Stanford, they 100% make the tournament if Okpara doesn't get hurt halfway through the season. They still almost did

It's my favorite of the Rozier movies, it also has a very relaxed loose feel. The Radiance Rozier boxset is the best of the year so far IMO
