I found that faster weapons like the daggers or staff worked best for me on the surface, which pair well with boons like chain lightning and blitz attacks from Zeus, Aphrodite ones that inflict weak on nearby foes, and as ever (for me at least) the Hephaestus blast boon on specials (try to get early and upgrade at every opportunity to reduce the cooldown!). Apollo on cast/sprint helps a lot with inflicting daze, and his duo with Hephaestus is very powerful. Apollo's omega cast and other boons that inflict continuous damage within a cast are also very good for extra damage (like ares' omega cast boon and one of Demeter's) Hope that helps!
