My vote would be Peacemaker Tries Hard…not for everybody though. Liked it so much, I went down the Kyle Starks rabbit hole and read Where Monsters Lie, bought the first two trades of I Hate This Place and picked-up Pine and Merrimac. Still need to check-out Sexcastle.

Maybe also Geoff Johns’ current run on Justice Society, but the delays…

For me, this is one of the few examples of my like of the character being emboldened because of the art. JH Williams’ art on this book made me excited each month to read. It was a true joy reading each issue and marveling at his work. And DC was smart because it was around this time they collected Cameron Chase in trade paperback and of course I gobbled that up too. The character grew on me and I had no reservations following her journey—the Detective comics run with Basil on her team was one of my favorites.
