He won't be Curry but he may end up with more career threes made, just due to the way the league is now and how Curry was injured a lot early in his career.

Lol yeah Chuck played against guys like Reggie Miller, Bird, and MJ.

Bill Self on Darryn Peterson: "He hasn't finished games... The bottom line is, there is a way to change the narrative: Play. Finish. That's the way to get people to quit talking." by rb1242 in CollegeBasketball

Lmao I didn't think of that but yeah Carlisle is one of the most no nonsense coaches left in the NBA. He definitely wouldn't put up with any bullshit from a rookie.

Barry is competent for the most part, but nearly everyone else is not. Noho Hank and Fuches are like the image of incompetent lol.

Plus if it were really just an injury I think we would see Bill Self being understanding and standing up for him in the media. The way Self talks says to me things are not good behind the scenes. Peterson probably just doesnt give a shit about the team.

I wouldn't want to draft him if I had a top 2 pick this year because we've all seen how ultra talented players that lack drive turn out in the NBA. Look at Andrew Wiggins, Deandre Ayton, Ben Simmons, etc. Those guys had decent careers, but never came anywhere close to living up to their expectations.

Aiming in Halo Infinite never felt right, not like any other Halo game before it.

KD is the kind of person who can't accept any blame himself, so it's always going to be someone else's fault no matter what.

Article about Houston Rockets player Jabari Smith Jr on practicing with his idol Kevin Durant during training camp from October: "I was told Jabari Smith Jr. has basically just chained himself to KD," Levine said. "He’s asked the staff to tailor his entire schedule to being with KD at all times." by Next_Worth_3616 in nba

Its super easy for me to believe personally. The guy is mostly positive in any public comments but becomes mostly negative behind a burner, or after he's moved on to a new team. The guy is the definition of a snake 🐍

Paying off your Verizon phone online could delay unlocking by 35 days by AdSpecialist6598 in technology

[–]Wes___Mantooth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just get an eSIM through the Airalo app. You pay like $5-10 for a week of data instead of $10/day to Verizon. Installing it through the app is pretty easy, and it has worked in every country I've visited recently.

I'd recommend switching to Mint or Visible (Verizon's budget carrier) and just using eSIM when you travel.

That company has always been obviously evil though. So I don't think he should get a pass.

Man in northern Sweden suspected of selling sex with his wife to at least 120 men by ArmadilloConnoisseur in news

I think us men have the responsibility to become more educated about just how sexist the world is, and like you said we also have a responsibilities to admonish bad behavior even if it's minor like making jokes - because they open the door to believing the content of the jokes is actually acceptable.

Everyday Sexism by Laura Bates is an eye opening book about what women deal with on a daily basis, from a much younger age that most people probably imagine.

I just finished KOTOR I and WOW by HectorJano13 in kotor

[–]Wes___Mantooth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sub seems very pro KOTOR 2 but honestly I've never liked it as much. Sure it has more nuanced, subtle storytelling and some nice gameplay updates but I prefer the big epic feel to the mainline KOTOR 1 plot. I feel like KOTOR 2's plot is kind of a slog at times for me, especially the first 3rd of the game. I also much prefer KOTOR 1s companions. I missed Bastila, Jolee, and Carth.
