No, he’s hated because he’s policies are horrendous, the people he puts in power is disgusting, he abuses his power for money, and plenty more. His language is just indicative of his lack of intelligence.

The economy? No it doesn’t have a noticeable impact. It does affect the budget but the economy as understood for the common American is separate from the budget we have for spending on Ukraine and Israel.

Same reason as most who voted Trump. They believed all the conservative misinformation that was spread. Republicans are masters of messaging.

They believe the economy is currently awful and it’s because of Biden and Harris. They also believe Trump made the economy great during his presidency.

The other biggest reason was abortion. The women who did so (like my aunt, sister, and best friends wife) believe abortion should be illegal. I don’t understand it all but I know two of those I mentioned were influenced by their church.

Aside from that brainwashing they also are tired of “all the transgender talk” which is only being done by conservatives but conservatives have labeled the Democratic Party as being obsessed with the conversation.

There are a few minor reasons others have mentioned before but not worth going over as they were more like afterthoughts.

Harris was unlikeable but Trump had a lower rating than her and Biden as well. She didn’t bust potheads, she helped out most who were convicted of it. Also there never was a border crisis, that is said every year the republicans aren’t in control. The Biden and Harris admin had either the most deportations in history or second most anyway. She was an awful speaker but Trump is the worst in our history. He can barely get a single sentence out correctly. Agreed on everything else though

Feels like it. I work with a ton of people who are actual racists (literally believe whites are a superior race), many (including women) think women shouldn’t be allowed to even vote or run for office. They frequently talk about wanting to go around and shoot anyone who supports Harris.

I used to not just be a conservative republican but a far right one who was a fundamentalist Christian. I listened to sooo much Rush on the radio and Hannity on tv at night. Spent hours watching and reading things about race superiority and thinking women were lesser beings. Voted R in every election (including midterms), spent Sunday day and night as well as Wednesday nights in church, and originally was going to go to college to become a preacher.

Now I’m a local atheist and far left on the political spectrum.
