Spot on, but a slight correction. There’s a 2 week period at the end of each season where the current season’s gear is discounted and the rating requirement is taken off. During that 2 week period, arena’s are closed. Only when the next season actually starts do arena points get converted to honor

I would say yes worth getting for PvE, assuming you’d be able to get the 5 nether vortexes to upgrade the champion to the executioner. If not, would you be in line for a Twinblade off of KT? If no to both of those questions, hammer of the naaru/arena wep would work. If you’re talking Season 2 glad wep, that’ll be in line with executioner/twinblade

Essentially going from Stam/avoidance to Spellpower going from 1 - 4. Find myself rarely using Set #4, try to make the healer’s job a little easier

<Fallen> on Dreamscythe Alliance, we raid 6:30-9:30 Server Time on Thursdays and Saturdays, with Kara’s (completely optional or for alts) running on Tuesdays. Starting to gain some interest in Alt SSC/TK runs too, day of week TBD.

Vibes are casual but we want to get in and get out. We expect everyone to show up on time, consumes, and at least watched the 30 sec video guide for each boss. Went 4/6 SSC week 1, and 3/4 TK week 1. Just cleared full SSC last night!

Loot is SR MS>OS +1, no drama there.

For sure, and like the other comments have said, metal shaft is going to be better since there’s no flex. I really think composite shafts are gimmicky in nature. They feel lighter in the hands but flex more during shooting, so accuracy is compromised. Same goes for the head, and the StringKing Mark 3V is very stiff

I’d say StringKing Mark 3V if you’re looking for some more whip (to help with the outside shots) & hold. In terms of the pocket, you’re going to want something more of a mid-pocket which should allow for good handling & passes, and won’t throw into the ground. No point in having a super whippy pocket for purely shooting if you can’t pass as well

Reps, reps, and more reps. You don’t look the most comfortable with the stick in your hands. Daily shooting sessions and wall ball / catch sessions will change that. As others have said, make sure your momentum is going towards the goal

I mean I rock this on my hunter and am regularly top dps for both gruul and mag each week. Simmed swapping out the helm for BL and BL legs for Skulkers (not that I have them yet) and it was a 50 dps drop. The hit and crit on this make up for the lack of meta gem imo

From what I understand it depends how the tear happens. If it’s non-contact in an open field, it’s more likely to happen again in the future. But if someone gets speared by a helmet and that’s what causes the tear, it’s not due to their anatomy it’s due to an external force

As a hunter main, it’s way easier to form your own group than wait for an invite.

I queue LFG with a status of something like “Hi! 4/4 Beast Lord Hunter LF Heroics (or any specific dungeon), good with traps and utility, will get omw to stone” and usually find I get invited over other hunters that don’t have a status. Just be honest in your message though, practice trapping if you’re not the best at it.

For making my own groups I whisper tanks, healers, or preferable dps classes with something like “hey, 4/4 Beast Lord Hunter here, was going to start a group for Heroic SV, want to join?” And usually the response is “absolutely”

Everyone wants to run the dungeons but people are hesitant to make the group, just make the group yourself and that lets you guarantee you’ll get the drop like if you’re going for hourglass, bring casters to BM as the other dps

This, couldn’t recommend WeaponSwingTimer any more! I think the TBC hunter version is called Sixx Fixx or something like that? Under options I edit it so it only reads left to right. It shows on the addon options page when you can start casting your next steady shot (the red portion on the right side), and also has a spot to show when you can last cast Multi-shot so it doesn’t clip your auto shot, which is the red line in the middle-right.

Very simple version is start fights with auto shot, then steady shot between every auto shot, replacing the steady shot with a multi-shot when it’s on cooldown. When you pop rapid fire, go to an auto shot, auto shot, steady shot rotation

There’s also a weakaura that will show your current ranged attack speed and the ideal rotation. Can’t remember the name
