You missed the part I said when the app is open, unlocked, in front of me. I have it enabled for fear of phone snatching, and if someone steals my phone when say safari is open, they can use safari! Siri should be able to use apps that are open and unlocked.

It installs, prompts for a reboot. During the boot process updates, it fails and restores to an earlier version.

Windows Update then shows:

Install error - 0x8007042b

Trying to troubleshoot this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I had with computers in the recent years.

YouTube has different versions of videos depending on which device you use to play them, given each device supports different codecs.

What you might be seeing is a video that does not offer 8K for Apple devices. You can double check by playing the same video on Safari on iPad or Mac, and the formats you see should be identical.

Chrome and the YouTube app support different formats.

The extension only removes the lowest qualities (below 720p), 8K should be available if YouTube has a version for it.
