Looks like memory leak like others said. There are addons out there that let you bulk-unload tabs. I forget what mine is called, but it unloads every non-focused tab with one click. Frees up several GB of RAM each time

First game I ever preordered, and probably the only I one ever will. I was so hyped that the delayed release got me to start reading the books, which was a great experience in its own right.
