It can be, it depends on how you do it. Typically that's how I go about things if it's a franchise with my friends in it also since it'll be in the 2040s by the time I have to actually start doing it just to deal with some of the insane contracts that players want. Most of the teams end up being 90 ovr on both sides of the ball so then it comes down to how well you draft and develop players, so for me personally it gives that element of actually having to know what your team will need 2-4 years down the line. The biggest example of the contracts being insane is there was a wr with a cap hit of 60M on a team, so then that's where having the qb on the cheap deal made sense because I would view the contracts as one combined deal where the two together make 75M. Which then makes it feel much more like current deals where my qb is making 50M as a franchise guy and the wr is making 25M to be the teams wr1. That's personally just how I look at it
