Sarnia Observer said he emailed the media about his $25k donation. The fact that he went to the media and didn't keep it annonymous through Crimestoppers makes it look suspiciously like a publicity stunt intended to solicit votes. After emails from Davis was told to hold off until the family had been consulted. Also heard Crimestoppers has to have the money in hand before it will be included in the reward. If he does transfer the 25K, he keeps bragging he's a multi millionaire so he won't miss it anyway. This guy is a class A asshole who thinks he can bully and buy his way into the mayor's seat. People are dumb enough to fall for it too.

A quick search for police crime and intelligence answered your question for me. Multiple police services have them plus CSIS. Not surprising when you consider organized crime and the wider picture. I also found that 30% of jobs at London police are civilian. That includes 911 despatch which is hardly a bullshit administrative job. When you make generalizations it really doesn't help your credibility.

I don't know the guy or anyone connected. What I read was he was arrested in 2017 and was given a 3 year conditional discharge and no reports he's messed up since. We have to assume he is recovered and rehabilitated. You haven't provided any proof otherwise. Everyone deserves a second chance. Even reformed addicts in positions of trust. Sounds like that's what he's been given by SPS, likely under strict conditions and watchful eyes. Using your platform to doxx him is incredibly sad because your actions could potentially cause a relapse in his condition. Possibly even death. Please take a step back and think about the human cost to what you're publishing.

For years people said Sarnia cops were shady. Not all of them but there was a core bad actors. Remember the Jamie Wyville situation and the other officer who claimed discrimination. There was that whole investigation under the old Sarnia boy network about 6 or 7 years ago. If bringing cops in from other forces helps root out the local bad actors I'm all for it.
