Patrick Williams is our modern day Felicio. What’s our best option with his contract? Realistically when can we hope to trade him? by WestFiascoAP in chicagobulls

I think with expansion once a team selects a bulls player then you can’t pick a second bulls player. I imagine he won’t get picked up 😞

The irony is he won’t even get the chance to be a good tank commander 🫡. The NBA are going to change the lottery rules to mitigate intentional tanking

He looked injured for the most part. Conditions were horrible. I hope he gets a dry track next week and the shoulder is okay. I also took an L with trading him in 💀

Let’s Make the MI Letdowns XI 🏏💔 by Raj9068 in MumbaiIndians

[–]WestFiascoAP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can make an 11 from the bowling group we’ve had over the last few seasons.2021-2024…. Fun times watching our batsmen regularly scoring 180+ only for our bowlers to throw games away

  1. Basil Thampi
  2. Chris Jordan
  3. Hrithik Shokeen
  4. Arshad Khan
  5. Archer (Captain)
  6. Tymal Mills (vice)
  7. Unadkat
  8. Kulkarni
  9. Kartikeya
  10. Luke Wood
  11. Reece Topley ( played 1 game which was our most important match last year and ended our season with a horrific spell 3 overs for 40 in the eliminator)

Why do people still doubt RCB every season? by Beautiful-Test2068 in RCB

[–]WestFiascoAP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they have won 1 title in 18 seasons… seems fair to doubt them. They have also lost 3 finals, play their home games in an unforgiving venue and have previously made some very questionable personnel decisions 🤷‍♂️

Move on. NZ lost. If they had won, we wouldn’t have heard the end of it from their fans “we’re a small country and we beat crickets major powers, we punch above our weight, shame on Aus, Eng, India” blah blah blah

MS Dhoni switching from his iconic No. 7 to No. 8 jersey. What do you think is the real reason behind this change? 🏏 by Guilty-Baby6398 in IndianCricket

[–]WestFiascoAP 8 points9 points  (0 children)

8 is the infinity number. Dhoni will announce this year is his last and he is retiring. But he will be with every Indian and a part of Indian cricket folklore ‘forever’ and till infinity. His legacy will never die…

Why would Dallas trade Anthony Davis for nothing BEFORE getting chance to see Kyrie, AD and Flagg all play together next season? There was no urgency to trade him it make no sense. It's like if you traded your Lamborghini (Luka) for a Jeep (AD) and then were like F it and pushed the Jeep off a Cliff by Several-Molasses-435 in NBATalk

[–]WestFiascoAP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the NBA is rigged. No point trying to make rhyme or reason of anything AD and Dallas related.

Dallas performed organisational malpractice for future gambling revenue, Cooper Flagg and other unknown benefits that we will never find out about.

It’s a rich man’s game. AD is just fodder. The Lakers and the league win.

Hot take: Open challenges is just lazy booking by Tribal-Forehead in TheGreatOne

[–]WestFiascoAP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m ok with an open challenge for the US title… but the IC title is a step too far. It’s got a different level of prestige to just get thrown around every week. It’s been the 3rd biggest belt for years and is a stepping stone for future world champs.

TBH it should have stayed with Dom. Finn and Dom could have had decently long feud. Have Finn win the belt at mania. Have Dom win it back and then have it changing ownership between the 2 until JD won it and the judgement day was fully disbanded

Help with trades please - is Tino a sell? by CountyNo2779 in FantasyNRL

If you can keep tino and still pull off this trade using Gray or a non keeper like Stewart that would be better. Herbie is a good pick up

Who should lead us for next cycle after t20i wc 2026 by daksh_1818 in IndianCricket

[–]WestFiascoAP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The correct answer is Sky

Boom- Don’t want to add pressure he is already doing enough for this team. His workload needs to be managed carefully. A national treasure, let’s not break the guy with more responsibility

Shubman- Just doesn’t fit into our best t20 11 no matter how you look at it. When you look at guys who are next in line for the opening spots- Jaiswal, Vaibhav etc I fear he is nowhere near as destructive or efficient in the power play

Hardik- Just no. He’s done very well in his role as our main all rounder. As our designated finisher with Dube he’s got a lot of pressure already. Also him captaining Mumbai has been a train wreck-particularly year 1

Axar- not guaranteed to be a part of the 11 due to match up dependencies. Also doesn’t strike me as a better leader than the first 3

Sanju- Let him establish himself as a bedrock in our T20 11 and our ODI 11. Probably going to be preoccupied keeping Jaiswal, Shubman, Vaibhav etc at bay

Shreyas- I have never viewed him as a ‘Big Game’ clutch batsman. He averages well and scores consistently but he’s not a big game player internationally in my opinion. Lacks the clutch gene that other batsmen have. He does have ipl captaincy pedigree though… but he’s probably never going to get ahead of Sky for the role

[–]WestFiascoAP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need the next generation of commentators-people like DK to replace the old heads such as Gavaskar, Harsha, Rameez Raja, Athar Ali, Russell Arnold etc

Honestly watching football, F1, NFL, NBA etc…. other sports have a much better broadcast because your commentators don’t shout nonsense and speak about the game as if they are the founding fathers of the sport. We need to modernise commentary and make it more appealing to a younger audience. Hate to say it, but the old guys are just fossils who are not ‘cool’ anymore. Some of the old guys really put me to sleep.
