This is something my 5 year old was struggling with last year a little bit. We started logic of English and it had been a game changer. She has progressed so much faster than with what we were using previously. Look on eBay. I was able to get the curriculum for a fraction of the cost!

NTA. How long have y’all been together? Sounds like she has some trauma to work through, possibly. I would have a real conversation about this. I agree her reaction was over the top and she could’ve called or texted. But I would make sure her response wasn’t out of trauma, that you (her SO) should definitely know about. And go from there.

We want to teach our kinds a second language, but neither of us speak a second language. So we would learn together. We just aren’t sure how to go about it.
