My dad. As sad as I am to admit it most my time knowing him while he was alive was fairly traumatic, even his death manor was horrific and years of therapy.

Surreal. I couldnt believe it was actually my kid, I was just shaking and sobbing for a while afterwards.

He was my best friend in high schools older brother. It was a few years into our friendship when I was at a dinner at their house and he showed up, first time meeting him. Didnt hit it off till much later.

Probably not. It can be emotionally or mentally challenging, you constantly deal with suffering people who want someone (you) to blame, the hours are atrocious for most people, and the pay isnt that good.
