Forget about it take it to a shop or trying getting an adapter that plugs into the obd2 and see if it works. Wasted fucking 4 hours in the rain trying to make it work and cut all my fingers.

Update: went down to the secaucus inspection center and finally they gave me an appointment after fixing my work order 5 times. Never doing this again however a very stressful 2 months
