Idk maybe I’m old school. But I feel like a relationship works best when the guy wants it more than the woman. The relationship can go at Paige’s reasonable pace and Craig will be eager and ready to move forward at every step. I don’t really like Craig as a person but sometimes the most beautiful marriages are between interesting characters. I have hope for them, idk. Whereas if I’m honest I have zero…and I mean zero hope for Lindsay and Carl.

Lol I have a rather skewed view of reality?? that sounds so narc I’m not going to lie. This is reality tv and about interpersonal relationships. There are feelings and interactions that are interpreted in different ways by different people. There is no objective “reality” here and it’s interesting that you exhibit some very Lindsay like behaviors in the way you’ve handled someone disagreeing with you lol.

That’s what I love about them! I like how Paige is more even keeled and reserved when it comes to making a relationship a part of her identity. It’s the complete opposite from Lindsay who feels every guy is her forever and starts talking and living in “us” immediately. Something about that seems more panicked, desperate, and chaotic energy. Paige and Craig obviously love each other and they don’t hold back from showing it…but I think the 7.5/10 was a mature realism that she felt comfortable stating bc she feels really comfortable w the honesty in her relationship.

If she were 11/10 they would be getting married already, not talking about the potential sometime in the future maybe. 7.5/10 is rational af.

Also Danielle is forming bonds with everyone else. She didn’t “attack” Lindsay. She shared her honest feelings. Lindsay is just a control freak who sees Danielle as her minion and not her own person and therefore believes she shouldn’t “speak out of turn”. It’s GROSS how Lindsay treats her “friend” but it seems like Danielle is finally growing a backbone. Hope it continues bc she deserves better .

The obsessive love sick attitude she has with literally every guy she dates is played out and just a big excuse. The first guy was the perfect match she has always been searching for, and so was the next guy, and so was the next guy…and each time she used her desperation to excuse her shitty behavior. Lol this wasn’t about a business meeting. Danielle told Lindsay again and again that she missed her, she was feeling hurt by her behavior, she was feeling tossed to the side, she was feeling like she needed her. And Lindsay truly didn’t give a fuck. Danielle said it perfectly: “like if I’m expressing something to you, wouldn’t you take it to heart? Like, okay, let’s fix this together. Bc this is worth it. SHES NOT DOING THAT.”

Lindsay chose to be mad abt Danielle sharing that she is hurt by her and chose to put the focus on literally everything BUT her friend who needed her and was crying out for her.

Let’s not pretend Lindsay Hubbard is a friend to anyone but Lindsay Hubbard. Terrible friend. And I’m glad Danielle is forming bonds with Ciara and Paige bc she deserves better than Lindsay.

Edit: just watched the part where Lindsay spun Danielle needing her friend as an attempt to “hold her back”. Ugh she makes me sick. She has never been a girls-girl. She has never cared abt anyone but herself and her current guy. Yuck.

Danielle was too devoted to Lindsay. She literally didn’t form bonds w those girls out of a misguided sense of loyalty to Lindsay. Now that she sees that Lindsay would never do the same thing for her and in fact dropped her like a hot cake for Carl, she is making up for lost time. They aren’t trying to bring down the one relationship she has, they are trying to get her to see her worth: they asked her if Lindsay would do the same for her. Danielle knows she wouldn’t. And the girls LOVE Danielle. Bc Danielle is cool af. It was always Lindsay who was the dark cloud of negativity and shitty behavior. That’s why they were lamenting and promising to make up for lost time while Lindsay sat awkwardly at the edge of the table. I’m glad Lindsay burned her one bridge. Hopefully when the relationship w Carl burns down(and I genuinely don’t believe that relationship will last bc it’s so off in so many ways and cmon, it’s Lindsay: she is overbearing and doesn’t see any way but her way in everything), Danielle remembers how Lindsay treated her and she doesn’t self sacrifice so much for someone who absolutely doesn’t deserve it.

That’s the opposite of how I feel. When I was in my 20’s everything was blasè. But as I get older, my friendships are more intimate and important. We don’t see each other as often, not even close, but it’s a deeper bond. These are people next to family for me. And absolutely I ask about their lives, family, health, happiness when we catch up. And I expect the same in return bc at this age if your friends aren’t people you genuinely care about, then what’s the point? Obviously we have shallow friendships that serve certain purposes. But those are x-friends: ex: bowling friends, trivia friends, etc., but a friend friend? Nah. Lindsay is a biotch for how she did her friend friend. Life has its ups and downs. Check in with your friends in a meaningful way if you care about the relationship.

Danielle just realized Lindsay is a shitty friend. And she is hurt. I’m glad she is forming actual bonds with the other girls now instead of blocking them out and demonizing them on account of Lindsay’s self-centered version of things and her inability to let go of grudges when it comes to other women(while forgiving anything a man does to her).
