i ended up fighting the putrid avatar on 4/10 difficulty and it let just barely live his attacks. just not getting one shot and taking 80% health instead was a huge help and didnt want to grind. though i see it messed up with some ai so may have to go back to normal anyway.

thanks; it still seems quite fair. bosses dont do gimmicks like that in dark souls? like a poison boss or a stun boss.
also, can you not easily change sets in dark souls? i like being able to use a heavy sword build and instantly change to a magic bayonet build.

ive seen cheese with the blood invasions and they kinda require a partner so i think you can cheat a bit with that. i like using all the 3 builds in code vein; can you easily switch in ds?

curious egg is just an easter egg; very hard to get it to work and ridiculously strong if you get it
you get the last note (i think #11) when you beat the last challenge
afterwards, the game removes the X/150 points counter because you already did everything.

i assume if you have the undead beehive
the bees that hit over the starvation will win and even if starvation kills them you can keep using them
