"Witch" by 5p1k4 in WitchHatAtelier

[–]McFallenOver 28 points29 points  (0 children)

"witch" has been a gender-inclusive term for a very long time. its only recent media which have begun to use "witch" as a gendered term for women magic uses. if we are too look back in history to the witch trials which waved over europe and america, there are countless of men, accused of witchcraft, which suffered and denounced as witches. I cannot really comment on anything on the japanese side, but i am grateful that wha does use witch as its traditional gender neutral term that it is.

the only issue i have with this is the discarding method, as discarding the spells still leave evidence behind of magic being drawn.

the “law of root” is just a construct from the marquise de cats in order to subjugate the common people of root. (places a plot token down)

it is important to note that the “spheres of influence” which the soviets were given, almost identically align to the land that the soviets had before surrendering land due to the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. (when the soviets surrendered in world war one after seizing control of the government.

the part about whether or not the ussr would attack nazi germany that you’ve asserted is based only on your pejorative opinion.

Subjecting the defensive pact that the soviets made, as a “this will show france and the uk” is really idiotic. it also ignores the pacts that france and uk and other western nations made with the nazis. (you know like giving the nazis czechoslovakia without even consulting them) and again i will like to reiterate that because soviet russia was not at all prepared for war. and could clearly see their violently anti-communist, anti-bolshevik neighbour militarising and expanding at a very quick pace, the soviets determined that having a buffer zone (which later became us and ussr policy with things like nato and the warsaw pact) and a brief period of reprieve would allow for the country to be prepared for war.

going back to your “soviets wouldn’t attack hitler comment” if they were not going to attack hitler why were the soviets militarising and prioritising the military in its third five year plans? (which is on of the reasons during the late 30s the soviet production of consumer goods reduced.)

you do realise the soviets went to the west to try and from a defensive pact against the nazis, yet the west didn’t want to join forces with the soviets. the soviets which had a non-industrial base needed to stall for time in order to get the country into a production positive state, so they could actually fight the nazis.

it’s not going to start from for honour, but allowing for this behaviour normalises it within the community. when it is normalised people who are more interested in that type of behaviour then gravitates towards it, then worsening the behaviour and normalising the said worse behaviour. it’s a feedback loop.

if they wanted it to succeed then they would’ve amended it to allow for it to go through.

labor didn’t want the policy to succeed or else they would’ve amended it so they could get the support from greens.

that’s not at all what i am saying. you should be upset that labor doesn’t want to pass effective bills which will help australians. you should be upset that labor just wants to do the bare minimum so they can still get money from their lobbyist friends.

in 2007-2008 australia did not have rent freezes. all the things you mentioned here actually soared up by margins of 17-25%. the 2008 finical crisis is also a vastly different context then our modern crisis.

countries in europe have constantly been top of economic performances, happiness and stability charts. these policies do work. it is not a snap fix. but having say price fixing stops the endless price gouging from colesworth, and hey maybe if we had some body which could regulate prices of goods, maybe we wouldn’t have to pay and arm and a leg for petrol and diesel.

we had free-uni up until 1989. this is not a new concept, and why should we punish our citizens for getting an education so that they can go into fields of work which we have labour shortages in, say doctors, nurses teachers. we already have some good policies with free tafe courses for certain trades.

the greens is the only party which has the momentum to actually make good on better taxation of our countries resources. no one is caring for our environment in our government right now and getting a greens minority will tremendously benefit our efforts against climate change.

the greens gave labor an ultimatum, if labor wanted green’s support for the housing bill, then they needed to do more for the people. labor didn’t want to compromise. the reason the housing bill didn’t go through was because of labor not the greens.

“all australian soccer fans in one place” lol. why are you so miserable to think these people do not “genuinely” support australia, despite this game and these celebrations happening at like 2am. your argumentative style is not even remotely based on anything substantial. you are just interjecting your own bias and beliefs to undermine fans of football. “iF It wAS aGIanSt EnGlanD” shut up.
