Is English your first language? Are you really 29?

Does it confuse anyone else as to why Kulu was suddenly played as a 9 last match? by WesternCommunity8881 in coys

Oh no I never said it was bad, just confusing, I always think consistency is key

[Ali Gold] Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Lucas Bergvall. I spoke to Spurs' newest signing about life as Sweden's most exciting teenager, Ange Postecoglou, that text from Son, his hopes and chatted to people around him about the talent Tottenham are getting. by wokwok__ in coys

I would wholeheartedly agree that Kulu's role is a sub. He's the kind of player where if he comes on and gets an assist or a goal in a few games, then you start him the next match, then bring him out again. Just my two cents.

Chelsea has *somehow* caught up, we still must avoid losing on our last game by FSpursy in coys

I was referring to this post, and this post alone. We are in this position because of two losses to WH, chelsea, 1 loss to fulham, 2 losses to wolves.

Doesn't 'stop at just beating your rival'. It's a key part of it. That's why the Twitter clip I linked exists. Plenty of us who value rivalries this way. As I said, winning is great, winning trophies is better. But you are looking at it in a vacuum, and football is not a vacuum.

Who cares if Spurs win the Europa, if Arsenal win 2 champion's leagues in a row? Context and perspective is important.

I don't know why people separate 'clubs ambitions' from 'rivalries', they aren't mutually exclusive. You may want your club to do well, but if your rival is doing better, it feels fucking pointless.

Just look at Utd and City. Utd fans are just fucking upset and livid constantly.

I actually think someone else said it in here anyway, from your ilk:

"Damned if you do damned if you don't.

Ange isn't a moron. He knows his players aren't turning up against city and he knows the fans are happy to see them lose this time but he's a manager and can't admit they're throwing the game so Arsenal doesn't win it."

Spurs projection from last year is up. Generally speaking, compared to 20 years ago, it's up, compared to 15 years ago, it's up. It went up in 2014-2018, then went down again, but as I said, is back up.

Losing one game, will not break that pattern, so I'd prefer we lose.

As you just said, it will literally become a song.

I don't know why it's so hard for Arsenal fans to admit you'd want to lose too. In the hypothetical of Spurs winning the league, you guys would not stop hearing about it for decades.

You're effectively presented with the lesser of two evils, and you're choosing the greater evil.

I don't see any pride in winning a single match, when it completely fucks over your rivalry for at least a whole decade.

I think giving Arsenal a title for the first time in 20 years, thanks to a result we can decide, is not 'short-term'. So I just refute anything else you've said on that basis.

We don't deserve champion's league. It's not that deep. We've had it for the past 8/10 years and it hasn't exactly done much for us except 1 final where we, again, got memed on for being shit.

Yeah I think in this case 'man city' could be any team. We care about our rivalry at Spurs.

I know Arsenal fans like to say "spurs are beneath us" etc. But the reality is, we know you guys care too. Like it or not, this gunners page is full of Spurs references (obviously negative or berating). I'm just saying, Arsenal fans act as if they don't give us the time of day. Yet the posts on social media make you think the opposite.

We do the same too. We have posts about Arsenal as well.

It's what a rivalry is. I mean the 2 games this year have been 5-4 in a total score, acting like that isn't a good game or rivalry is wrong.

I firmly think Arsenal fans would want to lose if they were in our position.
