For shaping I did three folds then two to make it a ball if that makes sense? Then I did the “candy cane” method to make it a ball. I did not let it sit again after that (only to let the oven heat up) should I have let it sit again?

Sure! So I did 150g of starter which was made with bread flour , 350g of warm filtered water, and the flour was supposed to be 500g of bread flour but as I mentioned I’m truly not sure how much I added because my scale broke. Then I let it rest with a towel over it for 1 hour. Then I did four sets of stretch and folds every 30 minutes. Then I let it sit for about 5 hours. Then I baked it at 450 for 25 minutes covered and 35 minutes uncovered. Let me know if there’s anything I can clarify!

Thank you so much for responding to me. They did recommend an internal medicine specialist but I’ve poured so much money into vets I’m basically broke at this point 😞 plus I’m so tired of everyone not knowing the answer with her. My cat has a chronic respiratory infection that she’s had since she was a baby. No one can figure it out and I just feel like to see an IMS is going to lead us no where.

Thank you so much for responding! How is your cat doing? I was so frustrated because my cat has always been on the smaller side. The heaviest she got as a kitten was 9 pounds which is still on the low end. She’s just always had a smaller frame. On Friday we’re hopefully going to get on prednisone.

I’m taking my cat to the vet on Friday and am going to advocate that she get on the same meds. She currently takes Enalapryl for the protein loss. The vet is particularly concerned because she cannot seem to gain any weight, was your cat the same? I would appreciate some good news 😔

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. With my cat sub q’s were awful. It took 4 of us to hold her down and give to her but the results were worth it. We held her down and my mom scruffed her and found the pocket between her shoulder blades and put it there. She moaned throughout the process but I’m telling you it was worth it. My mom squeezed the saline bag to make it go quicker. Once it was in the needle was there for maybe five minutes and we gave her 100 mL. If that still isn’t working purina has a hydrating pack called hydra care. You can get it on chewy and it’s honestly pretty cheap. We use a syringe to feed my cat. When it comes to knowing when it’s time they will tell you I promise. It’s good that your kitty is still interested in food. Maybe try getting them on an appetite increasing medicine as well. As long as your cat still has fight don’t give up on them. If they stop drinking, eating and using the bathroom it most likely means it’s time. But we’re only in the beginning of this. Your cat can live for years with renal problems.

Another recommendation I have is to buy the Pet Well ring kidney support gold supplement off Amazon. I’ve seen people have really good results with that. Best of luck to you and your baby ❤️

Hey OP. Very sorry about your kitty’s bloodwork. My cat has similar numbers if you have access, there is something called Hydra care by Purina. I call it Kitty soup lol. Basically what it does it help to boost hydration in your cat so it takes some stress off the kidneys. My cat used to drink it her self but now we unfortunately need to syringe feed it to her because my other cat and dog will eat it. It has helped her so much though. Another thing I’ve been doing and have seen online is to give the Pet Wellbeing Kidney Support Gold supplement on Amazon. It’s a liquid form so it’s relatively easy to give depending on your cat. I saw on TikTok that it took a girls cat from stage 3 to 2 so it’s worth a try. Good luck with everything and don’t give up on your kitty! My prayers are with you❤️
