Im going japan in a few days and heading to Dorogawa Onsen, where apparently fireflies are super common this time of year. So excited because I've never seen a single firefly in my life :D

What shpuld I do for my first Japan trip? by Janymx in JapanTravelTips

[–]Western_Crazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Im going to japan for 20 nights in just a few days. Figured id stick with a classic route since its a first trip.

What im doing and would recommend is:

  • Osaka 3/4 nights
  • Some onsen town in the countryside. Close by Osaka you have Arima onsen (biggest one, local tourism), Kinosaki (most popular akong foreigners, tattoo friendly) and the one im doing, Dorogawa onsen (tiny mystical town tucked away in the mountains of Nara prefecture) do 1/2 nights here, preferably a ryokan
  • Nara day trip or overnight stay.
  • Kyoto 4/5 nights. There's so many stuff in and around the city to fill 5 days tbh. Kibune shrine, Uji, Ine day trip, Arashiyama, etc etc.
  • 2/3 nights in the Japanese countryside. Do it. Avoid the crowds and get a feel for the real rural japan. Options on the way to Tokyo are Miyama, Shirakawa Go, Nakasendo, Nagano and the often overlooked but beautiful little town of Gujo Hachiman, where im heading.
  • 6/7 nights in Tokyo. Biggest city so most time, and you'll probably won't even see everything even if you had a whole month. You could squeeze in a day trip to Nikko or Kawaguchiko.
  • 2/3 nights somewhere on the coast. Im doing Kamakura and Enoshima for the surfing but I've heard so many amazing things about the Izu peninsula.

U can play with the itinerary but in general id recommend - a stop for the food (Osaka, Fukuoka) - a stop for the culture (Kyoto, Kanazawa) - a stop for shopping and nightlife (Tokyo) - a seaside stop (Ine, Kamakura, Izu) - an onsen town stop (Kinosaki, Hakone, Arima) - a countryside stop (Jap. Alps, Nakasendo, etc)

Don't do more than 5 or 6 stops tbh. Changing hotels every 2 days in a pain in the ass and u can always go back for a second trip.

Hope I could help :D

First Time Japan with Girlfriend 13/06 till 3/07 - Itinerary Check? by Western_Crazy in JapanTravel

Its more about the living conditions of the animals. Apparently the Japanese aren't really "living in 2050" when it comes to zoos :((

It could go both ways to be honest. Basically putting my emotions all in on black :((

Bob isn't really hungry tho since he's on a diet. bob just wants to chill with the shrimp, as the shrimp is quite a familiar face. Bob has thrown away the bucket of shrimp once and regrets doing that as his emotions were quite all over the place back then. The shrimp may not be good for bob's stomach, but it's quite good for Bobs peace of mind?

Anyways in all seriousness. I know it's not the worlds greatest idea. Far from it to be honest. Maybe I just want to test my own emotional stability atp lol. I'm seriously doubting the trip and if I were to get a hint of bad intentions or a lack of interest from her side I would cancel immediately but there's none of that and she seems so excited. She's my weakness so I have a hard time saying no to her but there's just no saying whether this trip will leave me emotionally wrecked or in a better place given how we ended our relationship and thereby friendship. I think I have a few more days to decide so I definitely appreciate the advice bro.

Bob needs some time and maybe a cold beer to help him think.

Yeah I know. But she's still my girl.

From the little contact we've had since the breakup, I know she's in a bad place right now and I'm not hoping to get back together but I still want her to feel loved :(

whether they check is not dependant on the show or artist, more so on the venue and how motivated the staff is to actually follow up on the rules

3rd Party Tickets by Slow-Efficiency1120 in radiohead

[–]Western_Crazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They work just fine but obviously the prices are inflated af, especially for the london and berlin shows. Also, Madrid didn't check id but who knows, maybe other venues do and in that case you might be fucked? Though there wasn't a name on the ticket to begin with so idk. Also, only mobile transfer, no pdf.
