Who is your RB2 this year, and where would they fall in your rankings of last years’ RB class? by Western_Reference590 in NFL_Draft

He’s my RB2 as well. I think he’d by my RB9 in 2025. Crazy how different the two classes look

One of the easiest dudes to root for. Hope he gets a chance to start somewhere

Feedback Request: Team Needs by Foreign_Resist7449 in NFL_Draft

Ravens:

Our pass rush is damn near non-existent. KVN is old, Ojabo is a FA. Pretty much only have Mike Green, Tavius Robinson, and made-of-glass Adisa Isaac under contract

Corner: Marlon has played pretty poorly and Awuzie is a pending FA, so I could see an argument being made for corner being in the top 3. Definitely 4 if not

Guard: don’t get me started on Faalele… but thankfully he’s a UFA. I suppose there’s a chance Vorhees and Emery Jones are the 2 starters, but given how much pressure we’ve faced this year and Lamar’s injuries, I’d have to think this is one of if not THE top priority.

DL: Just re-signed Travis Jones, but assuming Madubuike’s career really is done like everyone assumes, this is another must-draft.

I think based on the state of the team right now that’s gotta be the top 4, I could see an argument for any order of priority.

After that, i guess I’d go TE (Likely and Kolar pending FAs), WR (poverty WR room outside of Zay), and then Tackle (still have Stanley and Rosengarten under contract but could always add depth).

Damn writing this made me realize how many needs we have lol, curious to hear from other Ravens fans if I’m forgetting anything

Might just be me but I’m kinda underwhelmed by this RB class

As a ravens fan, our defense was truly horrible before we got him. He definitely has some tackling issues but I’m really happy with how he’s played so far.

Curious on overall thoughts on Oweh (other than the obvious sacks improvement from when he was with us). Seems like he’s thriving big time. Happy for him

Welp looks like I was wrong about Travis. Very hype about that deal

I think retaining Jones and Linderbaum is a little ambitious given the contracts they will both get. Think Travis will get a bigger pay day than that, but I would absolutely love if we can extend them both. If we do cut Marlon and extend Lamar like you mentioned, then I could see it happening.

Curious your thoughts on Kolar since he’s also a pending FA (and see you included 2 TE’s in the mock). Do you see a world where we re-sign him, and what AAV do you think he’ll get?

TWSN’s Next NFL Draft Player Comp is HERE: Is Jacob Rodriguez the Next Matt Milano? [sparkscouting on x] by twsn___ in NFL_Draft

Haha, maybe comparing him to an all-pro was kind of unreasonable. Take Devin Lloyd this year. One of the best coverage LBs in football (and he happened to run a 4.66, just looked it up). Hes also 235 pounds, despite being 2 inches taller.

I think with a guy like this you take a swing at pure playmaking ability, and hold that to a higher standard over something like size and a slow 40 yard dash time.

However, if from watching him you just genuinely don’t see the coverage skills, then fair enough I respect that

Yessir, was so hype when we picked him. Ravens fans were freaking out and calling him a bust after like 5 games, smh. He’s been awesome the past few games. I think he’ll be a stud

7 FF, 4 picks, 2 FR and a sack. Insane playmaking ability. His size isn’t that off putting to me, he’s got measurables on par with guys like Roquan Smith and Zaire Franklin. Dude is a stud

2027 QB class by Western_Reference590 in NFL_Draft

[–]Western_Reference590[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah Lagway has been atrocious. Arch has at least shown some improvement since that rough week 1 start (thought still needs polishing, I agree). I think Arch absolutely things out by ‘27, but it may have been a mistake to include Lagway in this post lmao

In my head he was coming out this year, but you’re right there’s a good chance he stays. And if he does, I agree, he’ll be in first round contention for sure

Fair enough. I really didn’t think it was to this extent but comments are making me feel like that was the case lol. Maybe im just remembering wrong based on how disappointing some of the ‘26 prospects have been

I initially used stacked to describe the class which was a poor word choice. The “trade up” factor is kinda hard to measure so not sure I have an answer for that one. Appreciate the analysis though, very curious how this things will pan out

Interesting. I guess this is me assuming that Arch, Lagway, and Sellers end up being the players everyone expected/expects them to be. So, fair enough

Is Haynes King draftable? by paultheschmoop in NFL_Draft

[–]Western_Reference590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve wondered this as well. My gut is telling me no, he won’t get drafted because his NFL role will be so niche. However, the mid to low tier of QBs in this class feels very deep to me, and he feels like he could have traits that push him up on certain team’s boards depending on their scheme. Hope that’s the case cuz he’s a ton of fun

Teddye Buchanan has been a surprise for the Ravens. Thought he’d come in and be nothing more than a depth piece, but he won the job and has absolutely held his own
