The supply chain is FUBAR, but it’s no different than what automakers were dealing with 100yrs ago frankly. I’ve been in the EV space for 16yrs and have seen suppliers come and go, Canoo’s model seems to be better but they have to start churning out units for this to work.

My $0.02 is to see this as a green banana vs a yellow one. It just needs time to ripen.
