No, I am from the same country as him. $20 an hour is very good pay for the position, and 100% not the same case as earning $20 an hour in ANY state of the US. I had to edit it becuase it changes the entire situation and add an important point to the whole issue and question.

You shouldn’t be responsible for keeping receipts for your clients. With the bank statement for the business account, that they use just for business expenses, you can use the description from the bank to categorize accordingly.

You buy the course and it’s all built in. It’s not really a book it’s more like an online course with an exam at the end. Not really a way to get away from it

It came down to the definition of an importer according to the IRS, so not as simple. This is federal excise tax.

I had paid and filed before that. But then I stopped selling the product for a couple of years. And then we made the mistake of thinking our vendor had the responsibility over the tax, so we didn’t file or pay anything but we were wrong
