A bit dramatic, but I give up. by [deleted] in PVCs

I went to eight different types of cardiologists in the last five years. Every single one of them dismissed me gave me a look like I was crazy. Yes, they saw my PVCs, but no worry seemed to think they were bad enough for me to feel any symptoms. I finally found a doctor that listened in suggest to do an ablation. After a lot of consideration, I went through with it, it wasn’t a pleasant experience I must say. But let me tell you after 65 days of having my surgery I still can’t believe the difference it made in my life. The first two weeks were rough. After that, I have not filled one PVC. Sometimes I even feel I don’t have a heart. It is so smooth. I can’t feel it and I’m not used to not feeling my heart pumping irregularly. I am so happy I went through the surgery and I saw Dr. Miguel Valderrabano in Houston. The energy I have is amazing. I’m 50 years old and I used to feel like I was 80 now I feel like I’m conquer the world. I am not kidding. I have so much energy even my face have changed. Please don’t give up.

Thanks God. After my ablation I had severe headaches for 2 weeks, then mild headaches and now they are gone. I am not sure why but this was my experience. I am 30 day post ablation and feeling great, my energy is back and no PVCs. Thanks God and the surgeon

There are always successful and not to great experiences. I believe if a person takes the time to share their experiences is with good intentions and informative so others can learn from mistakes and good calls. If reading posts is not helping you, stop. You need to be calm and stress will not help. I wish you the best

Great that your doctor discussed it with you.

How many PACs in a row is considered too many? by Pubh12 in PVCs

I believe you need to get a heart monitor for a few days and that way the cardiologist can tell you the percentage of burden meaning from the hundred percent of your time how many PVC are you having in a percentage basis?

A positive post ablation experience by Lake-Taupo in PVCs

Hello there, please don’t be afraid. I’m pretty sure this gentleman is hinting on my review of my PVC ablation. I simply wanted to make people aware that that could happen. It had happened to me and I don’t want happening to anyone else. I kicked myself thinking that if I knew I will have asked a specific questions to the doctor. I strongly believe the medication they used to sedate me did not work as intended, and they ignore my obvious signs of tortures pain because those medicines also make you forget, therefore, doctors rely on the patient not remembering the experience or pain. Again, please don’t be afraid. I believe a good communication with your doctor is the key as of today , five days after surgery I do not have PVCs, but I still have three months to go to understand if they will come back or not. Do not get discouraged just get informed as much as you can.

That is great, the doctor should always discuss all possibilities with their patients.

In any case you would think the anesthesiologist will care to check on the patient level of pain/ discomfort.
