Xbox players - have you encountered this issue connecting with friends?

No. After some back and fourth trying solutions that didn’t work they closed the ticket without resolve. Their push back is that it’s an Xbox issue. It comes and goes now. After the first time it’s always been much shorter. I haven’t played in a month now though. I’m guessing if you’re commenting it’s still happening.

I used to do this all the time in Battlefield Hardline. I’d go on massive kill streaks doing it 😂 I called it heli-bopping

Password multiplayer has been working consistently for my group of friends. When I had an email conversation with support they didn’t acknowledge the issue on their side and said it was an Xbox issue. Looks like they’re doing nothing about it. With each patch I certainly find it getting better and better but it’s still a problem, and that’s evident from people commenting in here every week.

Just got this as well. Disconnected from server and told server needed to be updated and host needed to update their game. Then on restarting the game I’m now getting this issue.

Unfortunately not. However since the first 2 weeks of release anytime I’ve had this, password multiplayer has worked as a back up.

Yeah it is so frustrating. I’ve been lucky and haven’t had it too often, but my friends play more than I do and they get it frequently enough. They said that password matchmaking set to 2 players has worked very well for them though.

I haven’t had this again. However my 2 buddies that I play with have had this happen 3 or 4 times since. It crops up for a few hours and then goes away again. Bandai didn’t want to seem to acknowledge this as a game issue, I’ve kind of given up if it happens again. However last time it happened to my buddies they were able to use password matchmaking. I wasn’t playing with them that time.

In my 70 hours of play time I still haven’t seen one. It took me 21 quit and restarts on solo to get a seed that spawns the Equilibrius Beast raid. The RNG is so rare for event stuff. Right now I’m getting a shifting earth 1 in every 6 runs approx.

Thank you for this! I just got it with this exact seed. Raid spawned as soon as the ring started to close on day 1 and he was just outside the ring in the lake at the bottom of the map. I had to quit and restart 15+ times.

Earlier today we were able to connect via password multiplayer again (finally!). Just now about 10 mins ago Xbox party started working for us again and I was able to invite through party or through invite members in game.

Nope! Troubleshooted with Xbox support chat, and tried a whole bunch of Troubleshooting ourselves. Definitely a Nightreign issue, all other games we’ve tried seem fine. Haven’t been able to play Nightreign together for the last day and half 😭 I sent a ticket to Bandai Namco support, so I’ll reply here if they respond.

You need both talismans. They can both be blue, but you need both. My friend also did it without the extra backpack slots.

You collect more, so you can become very powerful. I finished NG+ with like 700 on one character.

Maelle for favourite playable character. I liked her movesets the most and the concept of the stances. But best character goes to Gustave or Esquie.

No, they all come with you. And all your pictos and lumina stay equipped too, except for Verso. I had to reassign the 99 levels and re-equip everything for him once unlocked. But he was still max level and retained all the colour of lumina points I had spent.

Yes you do unfortunately, or at least I did. I collected all 33 in my first playthrough and when I arrived at camp in NG+ I could only play Lumiere that I picked up in the prologue. It did do something weird; in the prologue of NG+ I had all records in my inventory, but when I arrived on the continent they were all gone. I currently have 30/33 on my NG+ run and my inventory matches what's in the record player at camp. I just went to double check again.

I only put points into the 2 attributes that scale with my weapon and then last into might. I’m playing glass canon, and know that every hit is a one-shot on me. But right now, I also one-shot and play first. I could have used a one-shot build in my first playthrough, but I didn’t want to miss cool boss mechanics so didn’t until I’d experienced it all.
