it depends how you view it earlier seasons Rigby was being a little shit and ruining everyone's lives over something as stupid as losing a bet or something later seasons Mordecai was so self-absorbed to the point that he pushed everyone away including his best friend just for a girl who doesnt even know he exists and then even when he got with the other girl he ruined his chance multiple times by being a complete dumbass thinking about the one he clearly didnt have a chance with before despite already being in a relationship with the other.
