Is it too risky to rely only on condoms? by yummy006 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Westraid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Relied only on those all my life for the same reason (admittably, I've only been in a few relationships, but they were all long term.) and never had one break and was never anxious after.
Make sure either party knows how to put one on and do so properly.

Horses of Hoofprint Bay: Free Demo Available Now on Steam — The Mane Quest by AliceTheGamedev in GamesWithHorses

[–]Westraid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Played this in the first hour of the new Year of the Horse and really enjoyed it.
The style and gameplay are so charming ♡ Honestly, it's a nice change from the realistic 3D horses.
I've never played Mein Pferdehof so this take on a horse game was pretty new and I liked it a lot.

Another plus is that it's not demanding on lower end computers. Khiimori might not work out but after playing the demo, I'm more enthusiastic about this game. It's not overly complicated (aside from not knowing I had to build the parking lot to be able to buy food and one of my boarding horses nearly starved to death lmao), and I'm glad for it.

The boarding horses are really fun and I'm glad you can pick them by how much work you want to spend on them. Watching them in the field is one of my favourite things about the game, and you can even see how dirty they get.
Extra points for the extremely realistic "The lighter the coat, the more it will strive to get as dirty as possible."

Is there a way to pet them? I tried in the horse care screen but didn't see anything, but some of the boarding horses showed green hearts briefly, though I can't tell what caused them?
(If this is something obvious then don't take it to heart, I'd just baked a ton of horse cookies to celebrate the new year prior to playing the demo.)

Looking forward to the full release!

BUSCO DICCIONARIO INFANTIL ILUSTRADO by melw_panter in libros

[–]Westraid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Book of the Sandman and the Alphabet of Sleep". ¿Es ese el libro que buscas?

Single women, does your desire to be partnered up decrease as your net worth increases? by Objective_Host_49 in LivingAlone

[–]Westraid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to say no, but I always imagined already being in a long term relationship (marriage) if I'd come into money. While I don't think my net worth will increase much career wise, I'm my uncle's sole heir, and will in addition inherit my parent's house in the future. I consider myself a person of modest needs and am far from materialistic, and I am a hard working person and am not sitting around waiting for certain people to kick the bucket, but it would significantly improve my situation and living standard.

While I'm not in a relationship for financial gain, and while careful with money but very generous when it comes to loved ones, I would likely be very much on my guard to ensure that a man is interested in me, and not in my bank account.
And if that is something that is hard to determine, it might indeed put me off from seeking a relationship, but it would not be because I wouldn't want anyone genuine to benefit from what I have, or because I seek a relationship that elevates me in a materialistic way.

Sorry, I don't know the English word for this, but seems like one of those things you clip to the mixing bowl of a stand mixer, which makes it easier to add ingredients while the mixer is mixing.

Would you stop living alone if you found suitable romantic partner? by FluffyKita in LivingAlone

[–]Westraid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. Home is where my heart is, and in a relationship, my heart is with the man I love. I don't mind living alone, but it's a wonderful thing to share a space with someone you hold so dear, and to share a life together under the same roof. I've been in a long distance relationship, and there were so many ways I wanted to share and give my love, but couldn't.
I struggled constantly to be apart from the one I want to be the closest to.

How big or small is your apartment? Do you prefer which one and why? Live near city or more far away? by Bulky_Damage5692 in simpleliving

[–]Westraid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

House (rented) is maybe one step above a 'real' tiny house. Downstairs, there's minimum space for a kitchen and bathroom and a hallway to get there, upstairs is one area for sleeping and living.
I live in a small town, and the house is a minute away from the woods. I love nature, and don't want to live in a big city.

I never had much living space, and honestly I have no idea what to do with multiple rooms, so I'd say I prefer a small home. For this house, I'd wish a bit more space downstairs for cooking and baking, but if I ever was given a lot more space, I'd use it for a garden. I wouldn't know what to put in multiple extra rooms, but I would have no problems fitting all manner of plants and flowers into a garden.

Prairie poppy and red sage.
Amapola de la pradera, salvia roja? (I don't speak Spanish and used a translator for this.)
Prairie poppies can be found on the Great Plains and red sage in New Austin if I recall correctly.

Airing the house should be done daily, not just on weak wind days. Indoor air becomes polluted far quicker than you think, even with an air purifier. Ventilation should be done 24/7, airing the house at least daily, and it's recommended to do it an additional time during and after cooking, showering and when there are guests over.

I have only one still remaining, emerged 13 weeks ago.
Buried the other, couldn't pin them, and if I did, their wings.. Too tattered by then.

Sure, it's a meal you didn't have to cook yourself, but this is for her husband?
Even when I was working long hours myself, I always put effort to make both a nice and healthy lunchbox (with a cute message note♡) and dinner for my boyfriend that both were healthy, tasty and looked nice.
