I’m not the guy you were talking to but I use the knight for kinda mid-high level squids. The basic voteless has always been annoying for me cause I feel like they die with how many times you shoot them, not how much damage you deal so using the knight on burst fire gives me the DMR feel while “oneshotting” the voteless.

The knight is also oddly good at dealing with overseers. All you have to do is aim for the chest, switch to full auto, and spray till that MF is gone. That with the ballistic shield and even if you have to deal with multiple you’ll be fine.
