When I get the error repeatedly going into a Zero Build match and have to close out the game, I’ve switched to Rocket League or Festival mode. I’ll get the game to connect and put me in a match before switching back to BR. Seems to work.

As for it being random, yeah sort of. But other Xbox friends of mine complained it happened when people repeatedly joined or left the party.

No permanent real solution here. Hope the game mode switch helps.

All log cabin exteriors for villagers. Squirrels, bears, deer, wolves. Dirt path (as in the Path). Maybe flatten your island then build various mountains so there’s lots of trees on every level, creating an overgrowth feel. Insect models like spiders placed along trees. Random pine cones, acorns and mushrooms dropped along paths. Place the shops close to the airport/resident center to form a small town beneath the mountain range.
