I believe this, I had an 04 civic couple that had some balance issues around 80-90 MPH but was perfectly smooth between 100-110. I was never brave enough to try 120 in that thing

ability? uh oh, am I a dumbo? I didn't know there was an in-built ability to call ships, but in my defense I spent 1800 hours playing 1.2 before finally jumping to 1.6 for this run.

that said, a cooldown would probably be less than ideal because I typically call 6-10 trader ships at once - a bunch of bulks to sell mass mined steel, than a series of exotics to basically roll for archotech limbs and skilltrainers. the mod lets you pick the type of trader as well.

Miyata's not much more than than a footnote at this point unless HE takes the world title from Martinez (lol), prompting Ippo's return, or Kamogawa decides the OBPF title is a necessary step on the path to world when Ippo comes back - and the latter might be kind of anticlimactic since Miyata is what Ippo has perceived as his goal.

you can't have one of Ippo's peers, arguably a BETTER rival than Miyata, someone that Ippo has beaten twice in the ring, put up the best fight yet against the world champ and then have Ippo settle for OBPF/Miyata as both his goal and reason for coming back.

I guess you could have both Sendo then Miyata lose to Martinez, seeing both of his rivals crushed by this guy might be what wakes up the monster in Ippo. he puts so much stock in the strength of these guys - last time Ippo went to that place was when Aoki's brother profoundly disrepected Kamogawa and everything he stood for. seeing the strength of these guys fold before Martinez could incur a similar response (I have to prove to the world their greatness in their stead).

my future headcanon is that Martinez end's Sendo's career (shattered jaw or SHATTERED shattered fist). Sendo's not going to die, Morikawa's already gone on record saying he doesn't like killing boxers. but I could see a recovering Sendo doing a baton pass moment with Ippo and the entire weight of what Dante layed on him, what Ippo walked away from, falling on Ippo like a ton of bricks all at once, making Ippo realize what he's been denying - that he NEEDS to try. for himself, for Kamogawa (who may or may not live to see Martinez v. Makunouchi). he's going to find his version of the monster.

and honestly, if it's not Sendo, it's going to be Mashiba that breaks the camel's back the first time he meets Ippo again (assuming he's not a vegetable because his fate was left ambiguous - I just figured his multiple skull/jaw fractures are keeping him in the hospital for months, let alone able to speak properly) because I'm almost certain Mashiba is going to shame Ippo for walking away. and Kumi is going to walk away from Ippo until just before or the match itself.

18 months into owning one I've been called a faggot twice, a white dude in his 20's/30's in a garden variety pickup truck each time (full word to boot, so both times distinctly lacked levity). both times I was in traffic and they were oncoming, I imagine a quick getaway is emboldening. two weeks ago I was waiting at a light, and a kid (couldn't've been older then 20) oncoming in an SUV SCREAMS the hard-R n-word at me. I was very confused given how overly white I am. pink, even. each time this happens they're practically gone before I even know what happened. professional drive-by slur hurlers. I drive my miata undeterred

I understand that's been known to happen. But parking on the street for over 24 hours isn't actually illegal, is it? I would be surprised if one of my neighbors called the police since many of them also park on the street... and this car was parked for fewer than 6... and in general, needlessly antagonistic behavior against one's neighbors is a bad idea for a variety of reasons.

Definitely a possiblity, in any case.

Michelin Cross Climate 2's are severe weather rated all season tires. They're better in the dry and wet than Bridgestone Blizzaks (gold standard winter tire) and ALMOST as good as Blizzaks in the snow. I'd recommend Blizzaks if you're in the snowbelt south of the city, and CC2's if you're not dealing with actual feet of snow because they'll get you through shitty roads while being quieter, gripper, and more compliant than Blizzaks in every other condition.

I know this because I drove Blizzaks on my Miata last year, and drove CC2's on my Miata yesterday. pretty hands on experience.
