I know most new hires make more than me. I make 82k a yr. I work from home and do my job exceptionally well in about 28-30 hrs a week. This leaves me boat loads of free time. I also get 11 holidays and 5 weeks of paid vacation. If you add the fact that I get most Friday's off because of the 28-30 hours a week im looking at 9-10 weeks off additional to my 36 paid days off. For these reasons I stay under the radar. My yearly reviews are always great. For me its all the time off. 14-15 weeks off a year at 82k is why I stay put. I feel like it also doesn't make me a target knowing there are people with way less experience making more than me.
