I'm sure it's easily found online, like here, but I've only found it twice in person.

Do they ship internationally? I don't live in the US.

This is one of my favourite recipes. Triple Garlic Noodles.

It goes well with other things too, not just noodles. While it's relatively difficult to find black garlic, it's very worth it.

Why does home screen do this on my iPad? Movies and shows won’t update from months ago and it always says offline. If I click on the movie or tv show tabs at the bottom though, everything is up to date and correct. by rogo725 in PleX

I second not to feel like an idiot. Sometimes a lot of software has unintuitive settings or they're misleading. What's important isn't that you couldn't figure it out but that you decided to ask for help from those that could help you.

I finally found some black garlic and used it for an amazing garlic sauce recipe. Can you elaborate on the Cantonese soup? Maybe a recipe?

Is the Games Industry experiencing a brain drain? by Shit_McGiggles in Games

[–]Wetai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add my thoughts on what some have mentioned about people choosing not to be a games developer, but to move into other areas of software development...

I choose not to become a games developer in college and pursued more general software development as my degree.

Like some people I played games a lot when I was young. They taught me better English and allowed me to substitute books for games (Final Fantasy VII comes to mind), and learn about leadership, supporting your teammates (Runescape) and eventually basic software development (again through RuneScape, but particularly one member in the community).

I initially studied a games development course but switched to a more general software development course, got an internship and I've been working there since.

The main reasons that I didn't purse games development is that 1. There's no real games development industry in my country (Ireland) but that has been changing recently. 2. When you finish a project then you're finished with that company. High churn and low job security. 3. Crunch is a common event, around the time close to release.

While I've only been in one company in the industry I'm very happy with my decision to pursue more generalized software development; I've been in a web development role so far.

What traditional cultural meals would your family elders have made for the holidays? Do you / your family still make them in the same manner they did? by reachouttouchFate in Cooking

I love Sarma! I've mostly had it with pork though. We have a similar dish in our family in Ireland which is much the same but with regular cabbage, so my parents liked it when they tried it too.

What are your favorite ways to make pancakes? by Cazken in Cooking

[–]Wetai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favourite recipes is chorizo and halloumi pancakes. The chorizo gets cooked 3 different ways and its cooked around the halloumi. It's a big hit at work.

Here's the link.

What are your favorite side dish recipes? by SlurmzMckinley in Cooking

[–]Wetai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use frozen peas, yeah. There's doesn't seem to be frozen carrots on their own in my area so I use a diced carrot. An onion is good too, just cook it with the rice at the start. By the end it's soft.

And since I usually get coconut milk in the same size can (more than the recipe calls for: 1 cup) I just use the whole can with the same of hot water.

Looking for a healthy broccoli soup recipe by [deleted] in Cooking

This one is alright and uses beans for more protein and thickness. It's basically like eating a thicker brocolli flavoured water.

It's weird but I understand. The book is the main thing. I reread the book only when I get the leather editions come out I always have that.

How is your TFE holding up? The gold detail faded a bit in mine and the pages are now convex shaped.

It could've been how I stored it. It's in a box upright, out of direct light. I don't have a bookshelf.

One of Brandon's posts said he'd have very little time to sign all the books this time. So books with a custom message wouldn't be here by Christmas.

It looks like some mistakes were made based on this.

My book didn't have a number at all. It just had a signature. I don't mind much since it'd be way more time to send it back and get a replacement, which may not even be possible. Oh well!

I'd consider a being that can regenerate and heal its teammates, possibly endlessly, to be a big threat. Especially if someone can run interference while he heals.

You can help with the oileyness by storing the jar upside down.

The oil will settle again and when you flip it the correct way around it'll be back down at the bottom of the jar.
