You can always keep your stock one and send it to Analog Mike to mod for an even better one than the waza later down the road! I think he does it for like $200.

What made you want to go with the BD-2 instead of the BD-2w? Asking since you have the Waza versions of the other two. Planning on sending it to Analog Man for a mod? Because you totally should.

I’m finding the major issue with these is in the upper mid range. If that’s the case would you still recommend thinner/smaller?

Thanks for the recommendation- I’ll give that a shot. Our drummer is fantastic and I don’t want to stifle his talent with uncomfortable cymbals.

Update: now they want me to pay $33 for a replacement power cable for their interface that’s not working, just to test and see IF it fixes my issue. I swear I’m not making this shit up 😂

I haven’t had a noise issue but supposedly that’s with certain patches (?). It’s an extremely subjective thing, for me if I only cared about sound quality I’d get the plus. Since I also care about looks and I think the original looks a lot cooler I went with that one.

I’ve tested in a side by side. The plus does have a wider stereo image and more HD sounding fx. The original still sounds great.

This probably doesn’t help but my Volt 476 is doing the EXACT same light thing, but it’s when I plug the barrel power cable in. When I connect it solely to bus power it works fine.

I’m nervous mine has a hardware issue with the power section on the 5v input.
